I’ve always been drawn to working with my hands, especially with wood. There’s something special about taking a chunk of wood and seeing what it wants to become. Sometimes I add resin to fill in the gaps or weave in geometric patterns to play with texture and design. I don’t try to hide the knots, cracks, or odd shapes—instead, I let them be part of the story.

My process is a mix of planning and going with the flow. I use woodworking and woodturning tools, but I also spend a lot of time just looking at the material, figuring out what will bring out its best features. I like making things that people can use or display—pieces that feel good to hold and interesting to look at.

For me, it’s all about celebrating the natural beauty of the materials and the satisfaction of making something real and lasting. I hope my work helps people see the value in things that are a little bit imperfect, a little bit unexpected, and made with care.
