The design of this platter is a combination of typical design elements used in baskets made by Native Americans in the southwestern USA. It is made of hard maple with the coves cut and burned in concentric rings from the outside ring to the center of the platter. The radial lines are burned and the colors are applied using India ink pens.The platter is 11-1/2″ in diameter. This platter won a first place award at the Colorado Mountain College Fine Arts show in 2019. $900.
